Project under study

At the initiative of the French-Icelandic Chamber of Commerce, a groundbreaking academic partnership is being prepared between ESCP Business School and Reykjavik University. The ambition goes beyond a simple student exchange: to bring two corporate cultures closer together, to help students understand from the very start of their careers how decisions are made in the other country, and to lay the foundations for lasting business networks between France and Iceland.

The format is as simple as it is demanding: a full class from each school travels, in turn, for one week to the partner country. The programme includes lectures given by French and Icelandic teachers, meetings with other classes on site, team-building moments, and above all group work on real business cases, in French-Icelandic cultural pairs. For one week, the students are no longer students: they take on the role of business consultants, tasked with solving a real business problem together, with two voices and two cultures.

This project is led by François Bourachot and Patrick Sigurdsson, for the CC FRIS, alongside the academic staff of both schools.
