Every year in August, Jacques Cardaillac and Patrick Sigurdsson represent the French-Icelandic Chamber of Commerce at La REF (Rencontre des Entrepreneurs de France), MEDEF’s major annual event. The 2026 edition took place on 26 and 27 August at the Roland-Garros Stadium, on the theme “Courage”.

Alongside MEDEF International and the event’s sponsors, the CC FRIS holds numerous discussions there to identify opportunities for cooperation between French and Icelandic companies, whether French companies looking to expand in Iceland or Icelandic players seeking partners in France.
This regular presence is part of the Chamber’s institutional strategy with MEDEF, complementing its activities at major international events (MIPIM, Hyvolution, Arctic Circle) and its bilateral missions.
