Intervention during MIPIM in Cannes

Three hours by plane from France, Iceland hopes to attract French investors to this Nordic country with magnificent landscapes.
The Franco-Icelandic Chamber organized an intervention during MIPIM (international real estate exhibition, 22,000 participants) which took place in Cannes from March 12 to 15, 2024, as part of Islandstofan’s visit.

The Icelandic delegation was composed of:

Sophia Antipolis expressed the wish to continue discussions with Iceland, Buisiness Iceland and digital players in the form of a mutual development contract.

The CCFRIS Association organized face-to-face meetings between French actors and Icelandic delegates: Accor, Nexity, Vinci, etc. in particular in the context of the creation/extension of the city of KELDUR (8000,000m2 to be built) and of the tripling of the KEFLAVIK international airport. It is planned to organize a company visit to Iceland in 2025.
