The organization of FRIS and CCFRIS-AF
A board of directors drives the activities of FRIS. Council members are elected at a general meeting for a two-year term. Half of the directors reside in France (French section) and the other half in Iceland (Icelandic section). The board of directors is chaired by Berglind Guðmundsdóttir. The French section (CCFRIS-AF) is directed by Patrick Sigurdsson.
Administrators are volunteers with economic, legal and entrepreneurial training and expertise from several sectors.
FRIS and CCFRIS-AF develop active relationships with the business ecosystem in France and Iceland, business leaders, investors, investment funds, professional associations, French Parliament and Senate. The CCFRIS-AF is a member of the CCI.
CCFRIS-AF works with the Icelandic Embassy in Paris, the consulates in Marseille and Strasbourg as well as the French Embassy in Reykjavik.
